(Post 14) Editing techniques

 My narrative throughout is intense and fast paced, therefore my editing will follow suit:

-match on action

-quick cross cutting

-long takes at a certain moment possibly witnessing a character run through a group of people.

-jump cuts to quickly progress the time (it is a short film)

-a montage

-J and L cuts

These will be used particularly when a mention is made about another character that then transitions to show the character.

-invisible cuts to add to the mystery in the narrative.

All in all they all build up to create an action packed and suspense filling narrative that i aim to make them all as fast paced as possible, keeping the audience right on the edge of their seat.
