(post 7) Audience research

 My research into my condensed film consisted of asking mainly my family members, these are all quotes from what they had mentioned when i pitched it to them ;

My brother (16 years old)-"I think its an awesome idea, i like the bits where you said how each character will have their own backstory especially the 'Karate girl' she sounds pretty cool."

My mum and step Dad (47 and 51)-"Seems quite inventive to be fair, i just wonder how youre going to actually make it? As isnt the whole spy/criminal aspect a bit too much?"

My grandad ( 76 years old)-" well declan i think the idea sounds really interesting and i think it would be quite thrilling to watch however im not sure of its something id definitely go and watch! maybe im just too old!"

So clearly my older family members didnt fancy it as much however, my brother on the other hand whos alot older clearly preferred it a lot more, so in particular my audience should definitely focus on teenagers/ young adults who possibly desire the action alot more.
